Exercise 5: Alternate Picking <

These exercises are are made to increase your right hand's dexterity and speed.  The goal of these exercises is to solidify your alternate picking.  These exercises should be done at a speed where you can do them comfortably.  Build your speed by practicing them often.  Use a metronome to keep the proper tempo.

Exercise A works on your alternate picking.  Every note should be done with the following pattern d, u, d, u, d, u, etc. where d = downstroke and u = upstroke.
