In 1996, at the age of 16, I started Guitar Lesson World as an attempt to learn both the guitar and html. As I learned guitar concepts from the Internet, magazines, books, and other guitarists, I would create my own way of thinking and create a lesson. The lessons capture the nuances of how I interpreted new information. Over the years, I added and updated several lessons.
I took several years off from playing guitar to focus on my collegiate studies at Penn State University. Despite this downtime, Guitar Lesson World has undergone tremendous growth while remaining totally free. I have recently revitalized my playing. In doing so, I overhauled the site and wrote a book, which was released in November 10, 2006. Proceeds of the book will pay for the site's operations and hopefully free me to expand the site and provide more learning materials.
